Hello cichla enthusiasts, recently I lost almost all my fish in my 125 to ich and I'm starting to think about what to replace them with once everything is better in the tank. I've always wanted a PBass since I saw the video on youtube of the kid feeding a few massive temensis, now I know I wont be able to get a temensis but I wanted to know if there was a species that would be able to fit in the 125 for a year until I can get a bigger tank, I would also like one that will be on the smaller size compared to other species of cichla.
Thanks, Connor

Unfortunately none would be able to stay in the 125g even the smallest pbass for its life. Smallest pbass would be kelberi.

No not for life just for a little while, so I can get the bigger tank... what size would I need for the kelberi?

It will be fine. The question is: can/ will you follow through? We’ve all said it and not done it, so welcome to the club!

haha I know what you mean but I will be getting a large lump some of money this summer so I will be able to get a decent tank that it will fit in, Pbass are one of my favorite fish so I will definitely follow through.
