Cichla Rio Xingu

this is my largest Sp. Xingu. Looks to be ever-so-slightly developing those intermediate bars.. I'm placing my bets on xingu. to add, the pins have a broader, straight and bluer tail. and a lot more gold lol

something I been pondering for a while.. Does anyone know the differences between xingu type I, II, or III? Does it have anything to do with mirianae vs melaniae?

Hmm very interesting. How big is it now?? Probably still have to wait till it gets a lil bigger to really see what is!!

yea you're right. I just got excited to see the first indications of an ID lol it's probably about 4 inches
