I love that pearl ray!
I too need to get my ish together and get one of those glass units from ken.
Im sure it will clear up in due time.
Look at kens xingu tank. All he has on it is one of those glass filters. And its got crystal clear water.

^x2 glass media is supposed to filter out particles smaller than sand media, do a better job at it and require less to do the same job as sand media.....so I think it will clear up just fine.
 
OK. So here is the room so far:

2- 20 long
2- 40 breeders
2- 75 Gallon
1- 55 gallon
1-115 gallon
1- 300 gallon
1- 420 gallon
1- 180 gallon (just ordered)...

I may bring the 20 longs home to my house & replace them with 2 more 40 breeders. They are much better tanks for keeping fish for multiple reasons which is what I need! The 180 I felt was necessary to have a tank between the 75's & the 300 & 420. (the 115 is a salt water tank so it doesn't count). I guess from here the next tank will go downstairs in the warehouse & will have to be at least 100 gallons!

I meant AT LEAST 1000 GALLONS, not 100, obviously!

Cant wait to see that 1000g+ tank.
Great to see your addiction take off w/ such force.
If your feeling like santa claus i could use some more xingus and a glass filter from Ken ;)
