Thanks bassguy... FYI this tank isn't near done yet. I have had a nice tree trunk with roots getting water-logged for over 2 months now for this tank- & it's still not done! I'll get pics up of the finished look & see what you think then. The plants were chosen for some color & are not the way they ought to be yet.
So I got my 180 complete & ready to place some of my bigger baby bass into. I want to put some ray pups in there but I figure I should wait so I can control the cycle by not adding too much. Do you guys agree?
I turned the 420 around so it is facing the side where I have more room... Here is how it looks now:
The plumbing was done for me & I'm not gonna undo it. It doesn't bother me that much because the whole room has exposed plumbing everywhere being at my warehouse & not in one of my houses. That pearl is so active I get worried it might jump out of the tank! It loves the bubbles & eats from my hand already!

I personally like to see fish and pipes more than sticks and sand. Filter guys alway like to see nice plumbing.
