I agree in the old days they used to poke fun and argue like cats and dogs.
...but with stiffer rules, and infractions, things are a little different now....probably why some of the OG's don't get on anymore. But your right sitting on the sidelines does make this section slow.....4-5 people posting updates gets boring
 
^^ hes right, i talked to a couple OG and we agree that this forum is a little wack, you cant get into a heated "discussion" without getting banned or suspended. Hell you cant even swear on here without getting in trouble. Its like being in school and getting busted for every little thing. I wouldnt be surprised if i get a PM from a mod or banned for calling this forum wack haha. Too much mods taking things to seriously. Im in a bunch of other forums (auto forums )and sure there are rules but the mods are chill or non existent lol

I don't think it is the mods. I feel there are more thin skin people around then in the past. Sure we joke and criticize but many can't take it. So they lurk. I get PMs all the time for help but wish it was done publicly for all to see, share and chime in.
For me, I like rare fish and innovation. It's not the company except for maybe one or two of you...haha.

I couldn't agree more Ken. The lack of human interaction these days makes people really soft.
 
Agree with all of you guys. I'm don't take things personally on these forums. I'm here to educate myself and other fish collectors. No one knows everything so we need all of our smart brain as a whole to learn new things! Keep the sharing and the education going! You can never stop learning! I have learn more then I could have ever imagined from many of the OGs and newbs on here! I thank you all for sharing your knowledge and experience!
