i'm the opposit i have sand in mind but once my aro and pbass, ray and dat all get to a good size i was contemplating removing it all !

black tile... would def have to see to know how it would turn out.
I like the black rocks or just big rocks idea although they do have they heavier pool filter sand that doesnt move as easy.

i have sand and small rocks but am thinking of going bare bottom with just the driftwood at the bottom? i think it would be easier to clean but i would like to goto all black myself either med rocks or black pebbels mixed with black sand. what do yall think?
I will never use sand with cichla tanks... they are too powerful and will kick too much of it up! If you wanna go through pumps and filters then use sand!

Ras's bass dont even go down to disturb anything and he just took it all out too so nothing to disturb anyway...
Still trying to figure out the tile Neo??? Why worry about the gaps if the tiles are siliconed down or overlaped like slate slabs...
