I have an ornate bichir, endli bichir, a sassy lady jaguar, a giant raphael, and an oscar in with mine.
Cichla Tank mates??

Um....more bass. 
Naw, if I were to do tank mates for my cichla, I would do lemon barbs, albino barbs and red tailed barbs. They do really well eating fish poop.

Yes. Too well. ;_; My red-tail barbs got beat to death by Argus when she had enough of them biting the poop away from her while she was going.
Just be sure to watch them carefully!
Larger Bichirs, Datnoids, Clown Knife, Tinfoil Barbs, Bala Sharks, Leporinus, EBJD, Green terror, Pacu, Seberum, Oscars, ETC.
