Cichla Temensis and Friends! Update!!!

That's probably because you grew your tems out in a 40 or 55 grow out tank :screwy: (wayyyyy too small for multiple Temensis's even as a grow out tank). then, you got rid of them once they outgrew the tank if i remember correctly. They never really had a chance to live in a comfortable environment which is why they didn't show their natural aggressive behavior.

Most fish that get massive (even if they're young) won't act or behave naturally in a tank that is too small. For example, some larger crenichla species need large tanks if you want them to show their natural behavior.

If you grew out a group of tems in a 100+ gallon tank i can GUARANTEEEEEEE you that they'd be AGGRESSIVE BRUTES. :ROFL:

Showing some Hawaiian Pride I see :D But you an Mumtron should chilax we are all entitled to our own opinions we just have to see who has the better fish later on :ROFL:
 
LOL he's all talk Hawaiian, I would give him lickins if can. LOL his little farm raised mono/ocells are cute but he complained in one of his other threads about paying $50 for them and said he can't afford anymore if one dies...so all he can do is dream about the azuls and kelberis in my tank...LOL...you ready for some lake Wilson peacock bass fish when I come down! Me, you and pinoydlyte need to go!!!
 
there is really only 2 types of fish i want thats pbass and a black ghost knife .. both are hard to get in this area

:ROFL:It seems like you get louder and louder everytime. i can see that you havent taken your anger management courses that i highly recommended. anyways, i just thought they would die right away like baby discus since so many people were complaining about how their little 2"er's were dying. Since my first experience with them was fairly good and i find them easy to care for i figured i'd upgrade soon and get some more cichla or replace what i have. I have 3 saltwater tanks(200 FOWLR, 75 Reef, 10 Nano reef) to maintain and i can't waste any money on baby monos or ocells. if you can catch my drift. well..........azuls and kelberis are nice but my dream cichla are Orinocensis. I was going to tear down my 200 saltwater tank for a Temensis project but my eyes have been leaning towards the red eyed green and blue monster cichlaaaaaaaaaa. :naughty:

i grew 6 tems out in a 15g....
they were still aggressive towards each other and everything else...all the time.:screwy:
