He eat's plenty of hikari gold, prawn, earth worm and white bait.

I think it was at about 8-9". They have both horizontal and vertical lines for a while then the horizontal fades and reappears when the fish is stressed.

Thanks for the great comments everyone. I'll try to take some better pics tonight after I feed him so you can see his belly.
