Cichla with a WHITE EYE HELP ME PLEASE!!!!

She's looking a bit better... They eye is not quite a white as before... She just ate like 12 rosies (she has always been the hoss)... I can see a bit more of the normal eye. I will agree whith you guys it looks like a scratch to me also. I can see bit of "white flesh" sluffed off of the eye. Im not sure what else to do. I removed all the rocks today and left three plants for them to swim around and hide from each other. I did not do a water change today as planned, I thing the removal of most of the tank decorations stressed them enough... So i will do a water change agin tommorrow afternoon. Any imput is wanted and needed....


And I wanted to take the time and thank you all for the support you not only have given me, but the support you give to everyone even each other.. Im glad to be a part of the MFK's Crew and will stay a part for a long long time..

how is she doing? we need updates.
 
good to hear shes eating.
i'd just continue the water changes,add salt,and keep the temp high.
i cant help you with meds cause i never use them.

MUCH MUCH BETTER... Now its barely visible. I think she will always have some cloud in her eye, but she is eating from both sides now. ( i mean she can see feeders as they swim bye on that side)





 
it will recover,don't worry,just keep do the water changes and add melafix...
btw nice Peacock Bass
 
no problem,just don't stop taking care of it and also when you see some syndromes of any illness you have to react straight away.
