Yep all is good so far. I got a bunch of wigglers hard to tell because they are in the gravel but looks to be about 100 or so babies. I am a bit concerned cause I have other predators in the tank and parents are fending off their rock aggressively. As soon they can swim I will net them out and put them in a 20 gallon that's waiting for them. I am hoping in a few more days.
Thanks all for the congrats.

hey congrats on the spawn, its very eye opening and fun to see these little guys grow to be as big as the mom and dad. I wouldn't call my self a expert because I'm only 15 and have a lot more to learn, but I think I'm pretty knowledgeable about the Cichla Breeding. My pair just produced my 5th batch of little fry, and the number 1 thing that I have learned, is never get ahead of your self and try selling before they reach required size (1in-2in). Because I hade about 200 wigglers and then when it became time to eat and swim and do what they need to do, I only have about 50 or so. Um another heads up is when you start feeding and as they grow, you will notice that there will be a big group, around 50+ then on another side of the tank you will get a couple that are left out, FEED ALL ON BOTH SIDES!!!!! Because usually those are the ones you want to keep, because I have notice from growing them that they will grow faster and end up with the better color. But as on feeding, get a turkey baster and defrost the frozen BBS or your live BBS into a small container, like a salsa bowl and use the Turkey Baster and suck up the BBS and slowly lower the Baster into the tank to where the fry are and slowly squeeze out the BBS into the area of the fry. But the number 1 rule that I learned was never get ahead of your self. But Please post pics, and videos. But I don't mean tell you what to do, or how to do thing, just giving ideas, and maybe they work for you too.
