nice looking pair. i currently have 6 Cichlasoma boliviensis they are pretty cool fish to keep with bigger fish. they do tend to mouth fight alot.here a pic of my pair. not trying to steal ur thread just want to share my fish with you.

Wow, that is a cichlid that I have never heard of nor seen before. Very, very cool. Remind me of Aequidens of some sort. Where are these from? How did you acquire them?

Thanks :) They already bred and I got a few hundred fry. Half of them got eaten by tankmates. The other half are living with Ken now :D

They are from northern Uruguay, near Salto I think. Scott got a shipment from Felipe and was kind enough to spare a few :)
