They aren't that picky when it comes to eating. Just give a good variety...include some veggies and stay on top of the water changes. Males will get some very impressive trailing fins. Putting them in with other large guapote will more than likely get them clipped. If the fish is valuable to you, don't take a chance sticking it in with any other problems.
