Cichlid Addition Suggestions Please!

Why not get a red tailed prochilodus? A South American characin. It is peaceful very fast and will out grow the rest of your stock in the 150. Max. out at around 16 inches. If you go this route just get 1 as they do not play nicely with each other unless the tank is huge. 500-700 gallons for starters.

What about a Black Belt (Vieja maculicauda)? I have no personal experience with them, but I've heard they actually do pretty well with GTs.

How about a Jack Dempsey? They can certainly take care of themselves and as long as you've got plenty of hiding places there should be enough room in a 150G for your cichlids to establish their own territories.
