I have a 100 gallon tank that has been running for about 2 months. I was curious if I could put a Texas, Jack Dempsey, and a red devil or possibly a gold saum. I'm only looking for 3 cichlids, the tank is 5 feet long. I was also considering possibly a convict pair? I also have a 7in bichir that will be going in the tank. Could a Salvini work with any of these fish listed?

I think that tank would make a decent life long home for one of those fish. Is this going to be permanent?

Just get a Cuban cichlid and a electric blue flowerhorn,u can add a few convicts to my suggested stock

It would probably be a permanent home so if I cant have these aggressive fish. What would you recommend for aggressive smaller cichlids. Also I just looked up the Parachromis motaguensis which im highly interested what could go with that, if anything, Jack Dempsey maybe?

I wouldn't keep anything with Motaguensis. A 100 gallon tank is really only suitable for one medium sized aggressive fish.

I would recommend convicts. Motas are really aggressive, so I would reserve the tank for a pair only.
But consider parachromis loisellie. They are about half as aggressive, have personally and are gorgeous. You could keep JDs with them.
