It's still a long shot. I'll let you know. First, I need to get my fishing, non aquarium keeping buddies some kiddie pools or something to house fish in, then they have to actually go catch shippable fish (not going to be remotely possible till the water warms up, in April-May), and then I need to convince a LFS to package and ship them.

Thankfully you don't need a permit to ship fish out of Hawaii, just into.

I was reading over the thread trying to figure where you were shipping out of, or whether you had permits. There have been cases of people caught for distributing without a permit here on MFK and I would hate to see someone else join that list. I'm glad to hear you were doing your shipments legally.:D

Very cool pics, too, btw. I know how hard it is to fish from a kayak. It's pretty impressive you were able to get those shots off from that position without losing anything overboard, lol.

Is the Japanese Garden on UH campus? The guards dont care?

How could they care when they didn't know...much easier to net fish at 3 am when it's dark and they're asleep. I was stopped once and explained myself and promised that I wasn't messing with the koi (which are supposed to be there).
