Makes sense!
Just letting you know, if you use someone reputable they will tell you when they can and cannot ship.
They’ll recommend overnight

I just noticed that Jeff has andinoacara biseratus in stock and i was wondering if a pair of those would work with some other fish.

I’m not familiar with that species. It it looks to stay smaller ~4”
He also has 2 types of wild type blue acaras.
Jeff is supper knowledgeable and provides great customer service.

Shoot him an email, I’m sure you wi get a well thought response- possibly alternatives or suggestions for dithers or cats fromhis list

Ill be sure to do that. The major thing i have to do now is find a good local store for driftwood because my aquarium is a semi open top so I cant fit in my big manzanita which looks like big tree roots.

Where are you located?
My weekends used to be me just driving to LFS all over New England

Uncle neds fish factory in millis just got in a massive wood shipment- came in last week still being unbagged today-

Tropic isle in Framingham is moving and has some sales- in the past they have let me rummage through their shipping container out back that is filled with driftwood- all kinds including mounted pieces
There’s a good one in Springfield.
Never found much in Northern CT or VT

Im up in essex county mass so the only store with a good selection of fish near me is Zoo Pets but i dont really support their practices (feeding a live goldfish to exodon tetras) not having my drivers permit yet my only form of transpirtation are my parents. Springfield is out of the question but ill try and see about the other stores but before that i got to wait for my paycheck from mt job.

Unfortunately Essex has more marine fish stores than fresh.

I suggest uncle Neds for fish, Tropic isle for equipment.
If you check neds website or Facebook he list what’s coming in and will gladly take a call or hold something for you.

It’s the cichlid Mecca for the east coast- as per Practical Fish keeping.
He’ll also give you advice.

Worth the trip- I’ve been there when he was packing stuff up for ppl from ME, CT & NY
