it is a good way to make money, I think it happened to coke...

when the ownership expires you pick it up and then sell it back to the company for a hefty profit.

so maybe go daddy was watching a few domain names that would expire soon and scoop them up and sell them to make a quick .com buck and that just happened to be one of them...

Try going to cichlid-forum.com, you'll see that godaddy is "holding" the url... wtf?

I think as someone already suggested they just forgot to renew. Just business that's all. Same thing happens when you don't pay utilities. The company doesn't want to screw you, just wants payment.

I'm sure if the site is important to that many then it will be up again soon.
