Update:

I removed the grass and they're cruising along the bottom. I had to remove the mom because she ate a couple.

Dark Jester - I followed your crushing the flake method and it worked perfectly! They ate it up. They're currently so tiny that they don't show up on my camera. I might have to bust out the macro lens :P

Cool, glad it worked out. :) I agree it's hard to get pics of fry. I don't even have a camera with different lenses, just a nikon 'coolpix' L22 or something, digital. Was just trying to get a pic a little bit ago of some wigglers that my cons just hatched yesterday. Getting any sort of a close up with details is nearly impossible. :(

I'll have to wait and see if the mom moves them up next to the glass at some point. Unfortunately my fish budget doesn't have room for a better camera in it. :grinno:

So, I got my first female into the growout tank and stripped her on tuesday. All of the fry are healthy and growing.

My 2nd female looked extremely far along so I was planning on moving her Thursday Night. By the time I got home she had released and all of the fry seemed to have been eaten. Today I was cleaning out the gravel and I found one of the fry still remaining.

I got the fry moved into the growout tank! I'm really sad she released them before I had the chance, the one fry that I saved is really good looking.

I'll have pictures up by the end of the weekend when they're big enough to capture.

Here's the best picture I could get of them.

As you can see they're definitely hybrids, half are pink and the other half are darker with stripes.

Still not sure exactly what kind they are.
