lol. Most of the Satanoperca are pretty easy to discern if you're able to see the whole fish. But, leucosticta is very unique with its facial spangling.

Someone else post a pic. It's clear I have no idea how to do it...
 
I love the challege of only havin part of the fish to ID it by....it'll make it easier for you to ID the fish later on if you see it in person. ya know, certain things to look for and the like. Bravo! I need to get some tail shots...LOL!! ah hahahaha!! Aight, I'll post the next one! :D

Crenicichla xingu...but not sure which one it is....its a female that for sure. Is it still alive? Got any better pictures of it? The xingus females all look so similar....its either I, II, or III...heheh...
