Cichlid Guessing Game, CA/SA Cichlids Only!!

Over a month now and only one guess, so time to give hints. Ivanacara bimaculata is not far off at all. Although it is not common, this fish is in the hobby and has beeen around for a long time now (my brother had some in the early '70's). Might be a different regional variant or is exhibiting some coloration and markings you don't usually see on most pictures of this fish. But it's eye color gives it it's common name.
Nope. Not Cichlasoma dimerus. It's neither Cichlasoma nor Aequidens.
But it is of the same tribe---- Cichlasomatini. The larger grouping of which aquarists often refer to as Acaras.
Nannacara is the genus of the fish in question. As mentioned already, it's eye color gives it it's common name (though that clue only helps if you are familiar with it's common name).

I just gave clues telling everybody the genus is Nannacara. How do you get Crenicichla when you have been told the fish belongs to the genus Nannacara . Does the fish really look like a pike cichlid??Also mentioned it's common name is derived from it's eye, or eye color. Bear in mind there is only 4 fish in this genushttp://www.cichlidae.com/gallery/genus.php?id=97 As far as i'm concerned i am pretty much telling everbody what this fish is with my clues----only one of these fish has ever been somewhat available in the aquarium hobby. going on 2 months niow, somebody should be able to get this very easily!!!!
Well, O.K., 3 1/2 months now and only 3 guesses. I know there are people that know what it is......maybe they don't care to play the game, or don't care to have to post a pic if they get it right.
I'll give 24 hrs...... then I will spill the beans. It will then be the first cichlid on this thread to stump MFK. With my clues I have narrowed it down to only 4 fish.....so c'mon it is only 4 guesses away at most
