Varying opinions on whether it is valid or not. DNA does show this group to be a separate clade. Whether or not it will end up being generally accepted as a separate genus, who knows.
Everybody seemed quick to adopt Paraneetroplus for Veija/Paratheraps.....even though it made no sense for many, many reasons!!
Fishbase is using Nosferatu. Cichlidae.com has not adopted it yet, but they always take there time in adopting new names, as often a new study is not the last word.
No, it is not Stomatepia pindu. That is an African cichlid.
As is the title of the thread, it is CA/SA only.
