I don't think it's ever fair with juvenile fish so I will even give the species...Carpinte.

Yes. I'm calling it my "popcorn carpinte". I have NEVER owned a fish that so actively tried to kill itself by jumping out of the tank. I started with seven...have two. When we collected them in February, they were popping out of the water as we walked through the creek. Must be in response to whatever predator was in that ****ty little creek. More than likely some derivative of the Rio Salto Carpinte...but I guess I'll know more when it's grown.
