nah, I think it's a new world. my first thought was either a Theraps species or some type of acara but it could also be P. breidhori. how big is this fish?

well it def has to either be central or south since this is a guessing game about them...i think its a type of acara
I honestly don't know what this is. Posted my beast since this thread hadn't moved in weeks. African or American, who knows??? I have some well known new world keepers like Mojo telling me that it's american. I've had some well known african people telling me it is a tilapia...not zilli though, know those when I see them, they're a nice fish too. The size of this fella at time of photo is probably 10" or so.
I know that the snout is wrong, but otherwise it looks like an A. labiatum juvi that my buddy got from tuic recently. Just going through the weekly colour change.
