Cichlid ID NEED HELP ASAP!!!

Juvenile peacock from lake malawi. Need a better pic. Very hard to tell when they are not colored at all as well.

I'm confused. You didn't care enough to ID the fish before purchasing so that you can ensure you have the appropriate accommodations, but now the work will end if you can't ID this very second.

I opened the thread looking for the 911. Looks like a Peacock, hope he makes it.

Just an FYI try to ID and reasearch fish before you buy them you and the fish will be much happier.
 
I knew it was some kind of African. I accidentally posted in the SA Forum. i thought either Taiwan Reef or Peacock. I dont impulse buy like some people, I know the care requirements of most africans. It was sold as a Taiwan Reef Cichlid but it didnt really look like one so i posted this thread asking for an ID. and I DID need help ASAP cause if i knew the exact species i could make a better decision on what tank to put it in. I have it in a eperate 40g atm. Im gonna post a thread n the African section of the forum.
