And yep deangelo I wouldn't try it yet in an Endli tank, that cichlids still too small to gamble with. It's probably 4'' long, and the biggest fish in that tank is a 14'' lap who... well.... is the world's worst hunter. All the others are too small to even think about getting a snack.

be careful with the peacock it could take an eye out of a bichir, remember that cichlids are teritorial..just a word of warning cause I experienced it with a venustus pecking at the eye of my endli..quickly broke it off and put the ven. in my SA tank, he was the king for a while til my jag put him out permanently..it was a pretty ven too but thas a whole other species..anyways just a word of warning, goodluck.
