So I just picked up this guy from petco. He was in the assorted cichlid tank. He has blotchy spots like my blotch zebra but his colors are very vibrant. He is purplish blue and orangish red with black spots. And It looks like he has some striping too. Here are some pics. Sry they are not that good or clear this little guy would not stay still!

its a orange blossum peacock

OB peacock. It's a man made hybrid between a malawi peacock and an OB(orange blotched) mbuna.

Update on this guy! I had him for two months now and he has lost all of his color. I haven't seen a dramatic jump in growth either. I am feeding him hikiari color enhancing pellets since I got him. Any ideas to why he has lost his color?

albino red zebra

Blotch red zebra

rusty

acei

and a green terror

all of them are small under 3 inches. It is a grow out tank. The rusty is the most aggressive in the tank. Nobody picks on him. I only see the rusty picking on the acei

oh yeah! i would say he is stressed out with those fish. Peacocks are mild compared to what you have in that tank. The Zebras alone would keep him sub dominate. Thats why he lost his color.

hmm ok thank you
