They were all going to be moved to the a 240

If I see problems in it I was going to take the fish that were creating the problems to the lfs for trade

I have been breeding and raising fish for 10 yrs and Peacocks rarely do well with the Mbunas. Their fins are always tattered and they seem to stay as far away as they can from the Mbunas. Its a rare Peacock that can hold his own against the Mbunas.

The Rusty will be the problem to begin with and when you remove him another will take his spot. As long as their aggression is dispersed and every one gets a little they should be ok. There is always that one fish that is a real PITA and you have no choice but to remove him.

ok thank you for the information. He might just have to stay in the 46 grow out until My sis gets her 20 gallon set up.

Ya I know how that goes. I was going to put enough in the 240 where it gets equally dispersed so not only on fish gets picked on.

The 240 might be big enough for him to stay away from the more aggressive fish. Good luck with him he is a beautiful fish. I just bought 6 of them myself.

I would like to point out that OB peacocks are not true peacocks. They are peacocks crossed with mbuna. If any peacock can stand up to mbuna it's an OB peacock. Some are just as mean, it really depends on the individual.

Thats what I thought also. But I thought that I was telling my self false information.
