Yea, thats how I have come to understand it, the problem is many sources of info confuse the 2 not you chris but internet data fact sheets on several websites creating widespread confusion and debate. Not that it matters as texas is used commonly for both as chris said. I was getting my info from old school breeders that hsve corrected me and never used the internet, out of my respect for them and the long time expertise they had I took the info verbatem without despute. Thid doesnt make it correct, and the common name really doesnt mean anythig as we can distinguish the two by scientific name without debate. Either was the escondios and valhillos versions of carpentis are in my opinion by far the most attractive.
