Looks like a female venustus at first glance. Malawi fish, pretty aggressive.

Thought that too but looks extremely dull to be a venustus IMO. Used to have one and it was a terror in the tank

May have been a male, they are bluer, while females are brown.

I’ve only seen females with green/yellow never brown

My mistake, just looked up venustus to refresh my memory. Try livingstoni.
