Cichlid ID

Saw this guy at petco and they didn’t have a label for him. He’s definitely a short body but can’t find out what kind of cichlid he is, for some reason I think a type of cockatoo cichlid ( yes I noticed the ich) View attachment 1471312

We used to sell these in the aquatic shop short body German blue rams or balloon rams as we would have them labelled.

In my opinion there not a very strong fish and need very good water to thrive.

They need very warm waters. It’s a ram cichlid.
