I know you guys hate these but I think my LFS had mislabeled a fish I feel like it’s an amphilopus species I just don’t know which one.

At the age of the juvie in your pix, all Amphilophines will look so similar it will be impossible to determine one species from another.
An example the juvies below

You might think, with the way the mouth presents, it could be A labiatus, but as an adult.....it grew into the A amarillo below

Or....this very pale juvie below

That grew into, the brown flaveolus below

Awesome I never owned any other species outside of Red Devils and Midas so I’m really interested to see what this guy becomes I’ll post in a couple months when he grows
