anyone know what this is, I bought two of them they seam to be very slow growers, I'v had them for over 5 months now, maybe longer, can't say that i've seen much growth at all.

Yup, N. brichardi alright. I agree that they grow fast (at least till they sexually mature), just not large. They have a very interesting social structure. A sort of nuclear family where older fry help care for younger siblings.
