anyone know what this is, I bought two of them they seam to be very slow growers, I'v had them for over 5 months now, maybe longer, can't say that i've seen much growth at all.

I dont know there names but that is about as Big as they get.

Neolamprologus Brichardi, Tanganyika fish. They look about full grown, only get to about 3-4". Dont grow slow either, males are bigger so looks like 2 females.

get a male and you'll have a crowded com in no time.

thanks for the info, yeah these are only about 1-1 1/2"

Yup, N. brichardi alright. I agree that they grow fast (at least till they sexually mature), just not large. They have a very interesting social structure. A sort of nuclear family where older fry help care for younger siblings.
