Cichlid Identification?

Sorry, I should have said an American Cichlid tank. I usually dont specify whether a fish is central or south. I usually end up calling everything south american
lol. But ok, I probably wont put it in the tank then.
Is my best bet to sell the Apisto to a better fish store? I already had plans for the tank it is in. And all my other tanks are different continents or species only tanks. I really do wanna keep the little fella thou, but if he cannot go into the American tank then i dont have anywhere else for him other than a little 10 g which I would never put him in.
A sick convict atm. He is most likely gonna pass away though. I know Apistos dont get very big, but I would never put a cichlid in anything smaller than a 20 long. I dont like to put fish period in something as small as a 10 unless its a betta.
Hmm. I might just change up plans on what I want to do with the 20 long. If the apisto turns out to be female should I try to add it to the American tank? I know females tend to be more passive then vibrant males. My boss convict chases everyone for 1 second (even the buenos aires tetras) and then leaves them alone. The only fish he chases around the tank are the other 2 convicts who are VERY passive and keep to themselves.Oh okSome hobbyists keep apistogramma's in Nano planted tanks.
I also plan on attempting to plant the American Tank and add some more rocks, so if I do add the apisto, it will have places to hide.Oh ok
Aww. Yeah I can (thats whats its currently used for) but now i guess ill grow it out and sell it or keep it in the 20 idk. If its a male i might keep it in the 20 but if its female im most likely gonna grow it and sell it
