I am still considering that Clockwork and will likely do it. I spent yesterday getting sand and decorations in the new 90g tank and testing the water. Today I want to get him into that tank, and set up my 30 gallon tall next to it for treating him with a salt solution if I have to. I'm just trying to get everything set up in the basement with the 90g and 30g, as it is easier for water changes than the 55g in my bedroom.
I was talking about a salt bath... not just putting salt in his tank. Take him out of the tank and put him in a bucket with salted water and then return him to his normal tank.
