It's not now?

No, it's now considered a dwarf planet. Astronomers have a tough time agreeing with each other too. It is now a Kuiper Belt object and we are down to eight planets or up to ~110 depending on who's definition you go by. It's all good though I learned there were nine planets "ol' dawg new tricks".

Yes, but the real question is, are there cichlids on Pluto?

Thanks RD for the link.

I think most aquarists are going to have a hard time seeing Paraneetroplus bulleri as more closely related to 12 species of Veija then it is to Paraneetroplus nebuliferus. The peculiar nose of Paraneetroplus species an example of convergent evolution? The study didn't sample either Paraneetroplus gibbiceps nor P. omonti, so it can't say anything about these other 2 species. Some how I doubt this is the last word on Veija/Paraneetroplus/ Chuco/ Theraps/ Tomocichla. Seperating P. nebuliferous from P. bulleri and placing them into entirely seperate genera, with the latter, P. bulleri as type species of the Paraneetroplus genus along with 12 other species of Veija.......something does not fit:grinno: .....or the peculiar nose of Paraneetroplus is a case of convergent evolution.
