my hikari cichlid gold (floating) is running out. I am thinking of trying something else. NLS are out of question because they are too expensive and i cant get them easily. The food options im left are hikari cichlid gold/ hikari cichlid gold (sinking)/ Hikari carnivore/ Hikari bio gold. If you have any other fish food that are good and would like to recommend (other than NLS) pls post!!

My fish love Hikari sinking Cichlid Gold. I never get floating food. It all ends up in the filter.
i would get the sinking one. but my LFS only carry medium and bigger. I need a baby one for my 1.5-2.5 inches convict.
I feed my fish floating (Hikari Bio Gold) and sinking (NLS) . . . they seem to prefer the Hikari, but they greedily eat both . . .
NLS cichlid formula has too little protein. I have small convicts btw. Xtreme is hard to find in my area 
is there any notable difference (like growth rate and coloration) between bio gold and cichlid gold? besides the micro organism in the bio gold.
