The Amazonian biotope is sweet - those angels/discus are massive looking. Nice setup with neon and hatchets.

I was at the Shedd late spring and the Midas tank may have a bit of new fish compared to the last time you may have been there. Sure there are some giants but I noticed they had a ton of what I would call adolescent Midas. There were also some fliers mixed in that tank, too. Like others have mentioned, I really like the sajica!

Cool! Yeah I haven't been in.... wow, I just realized it's been 6 years. Yikes!

Jeez! DC is full of Flowerhorns.

Folks would sneak unwanted fish into the Zoo and drop them into the tank. I think they finally blocked off the area that allowed people to do that.
