may even try some dovii. Thinking they may be launching out of the pond though. It would be cool if I could pull it off. I have 1 cat and 2 green terrors and a lonely koi that have been in for a couple weeks cycling the pond. It will be heated in winter, in az so no big deal. At little over half of the pond is about 4 feet deep. IMG_1393.JPG Any stocking ideas? Thoughts on the dovii?

Nice and it looks like it has a side "window" for better underwater viewing.

That's pretty awesome. What's the footprint and how many gallons? Dovii will be hit or miss, and it also depends largely on the rest of the stock. If the other fish are big enough not to be swallowed, fast enough to get away if they need to, and have plenty of hiding places should the dovii single them out, then you can do it with some success. You may be able to get away with having multiple large, robust cichlids that can stand up to the dovii, such as midas or various types of vieja. But in either case, you should probably be prepared to lose some fish to the dovii once it grows. (There was a member on here who decided to add a dovii to his 15k gallon aquarium and the dovii ended up killing some oscars in there.)

Good luck!

It is 12' by 14' but somewhat triangular, it is about 1700 gallons. I do realize that dovii will most likely dominate the pond, the terrors and koi will get re-homed if the dovii are added. Thinking it would be action packed, and feeding would be quite entertaining if I could raise a handful of dovii in there. A couple more pics. IMG_1392.JPGIMG_1428.JPG

Very nice pond. It probably won't look so good tinted pink and sparkling with green terror scales. Definitely get them out if you go Dovii or other piscavorous monsters-The Dovii would be entertaining for sure but it would seriously limit the number of fish you can get in there. Vieja, and amph types will allow you to stock more and they also are quite aggressive as well

Very nice clean design. Window and fire bowl too! Love it.
