:) I guess that your tank are around 60g then.
I got a similar sized tank with 1 sajica 1 spilurus 1 maculipinnis 1 multispinosa ( all males) and a Female Jd. so far no problems but I´m watching the JD, shes 8-10 cm and I hope that she will work as a centerpiece since the sajica really acts like a security service. He wont allow any argues that he has´nt started :)

Okay. I thought it had been roughly 100gal. I haven't measured it yet, but looks to be 50 to 60 high and 45 to 50 wide. I'll pull out the tape measure tommorrow.

I'm hopeing my centre piece will be like that. I think I should only go with two pairs as the snakehead gudgeons will take up some bottom room as well.

Any dithers you were thinking? I was think SDs but I did want some plants in there.

Eventually I will have blind cave tetras as dithers, not nice at all, but a real oddballdither.
But now I use black skirt tetras and they work well with the cichlids, I have 10 cory schwartzii and 5 cory aneus to that look really good when they swim in shoals but I´m moving them soon because I don´t wanna risk that the JD dies by eating one of the corys.

I was thinking of blind cave tetras, but i'm not exactly souled on em yet.

I know my scavenger catfish will be pictus catfish.

pictus are a great fish for communitys! so have you decided on wich fish you will get yet?

Not yet. I've got plenty of time to decide. The tank has a crack on the bottom so I need a new base, the stand has to be made, and I need to buy all the new equipment for it. :D

what are your thoughts on centerpiece. nic or jd?

yeah, salvinis look great. I was tempted myself to get a female but didnt dare to buy it because of their temperament. but it´s a great choice for centerpiece.
