Cichlid Tank update

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Very nice! Thanks for sharing

Very nice cichlid tank. Love the alto. comp.'s (only two?) and the dolphin, the rest also looks very good. I was looking to build a colony of compressiceps/calvus, but things just got changed last night so that'd be down the road. Nicely done!

edit: just looked at your signature. You have 8 gold fin comp's? Nice. But what are gold fin? I only know of gold, orange, gold head/face, inkfin, red fin...

Looks good. Wanted to ask, how many fish do you have in the tank? I have a 120 mostly with Victorians and peacocks, with a coupld of haps mixed in....I will eventually move the haps when they get a little bigger.

Did I put Gold Fin? I meant to say Gold Head/Face... must be a mixed up, will fix my signature... there's currently 7 of them in the tank (1 just went missing one day), some of them I believe are breeding and are in and out of their sea shells...

Good luck on your plan to build a colony of comps... don't forget to share your tank pics if you push through with it...

Good you ask, I have not counted them for a while :D

4 Fronts
4 Dolphin
4 Venustus
6 Malawi Eyebiter
7 Gold Head Comp
2 Lionhead Cichlids
2 Raphael Catfish
2 Spiny Eels (I have not seen them for months though)
1 Pleco

That's a total of 32 fishes in the tank...

Thank you!
