are you sure thry will breed
:nono:
Of course he cant be sure. However based on what you have told its seems like they are getting ready to breed. And if they do odds are they will produce offspring.

I think it can not be done, these fish are from a complete other gender. I don't think they would attract to eatchother.

My opinion is however that you should not do it, i think a cross breeded fish isn't a good thing  . But that's just mine opinion ofcourse.

creating a new type of xixhlid would be awsome pet shops would pay big for them and they already have layed eggs on a piece os drift wood.

no pixs because of fish being scared of me and hiding when i come in my room and i dont want my Red Star flower horn cichlid to eat the eggs.

Yeah, the eggies will prolly be fertilised and hatch. I think you should remove all the fish in that tank excluding the pair. This way the eggs and resulting fry have a much higher chance of survival.

I hope the fish are two different genders

An easy way to catch the fry and remove them with teh parents is to do a 20% water change and turn the filters, and air stones if you have them...thus taking the O2 out the water, the fry will be the first to notice and go striaght to teh top then scoop them up and move them to a safe tank so they can grow and see what you some up with. I have done this several times sucessfully...I got some horny *** cichlids.
