Ciclid Head Growth???

I've seen females with humps as well; not big ones like on males, but still humps. This is different in humans though.

Weird! But cool...(gorgeous color on her btw) Do you think it occurs in the wild or just our domestic varieties?

Hmmm, I hadn't seen a female like that before, but I haven't really kept any cichlid species that get the large humps like that. I believe it's mainly a dominance thing, so I wouldn't be surprised if in wild populations both the dominant male and female in an area get the humps and mose submissive individuals have either reduced humps or lack them altogether
