Another progress report.

This first picture is from Friday. Jaw seems to have regained much of its movement. Still swelling and a bit of popeye on the left side of the face. Forehead wound continues to heal.20200404_223415.jpg

As of today, the jaw hasn't seen too much change. The swelling is unchanged. The forehead wound has reddened in some areas, while reducing in size as it heals. Behaviorally the fish is right back at how acted prior to this ordeal.

Able to feed?

Another update.

Eye swelling has all but subsided. Rightside facial swelling remains, as does jaw protrusion. Forehead wound continues to heal, though a smaller growth has developed. Feed response had become best in tank. No symptoms in other fish.

I'm planning on using septic tank bacteria afterwards to outcompete columnaris via competitive exclusion as outlined in the probiotics sticky.

Another update. Swelling has gone down significantly. The forehead wound has almost fully healed. His teeth were previously covered by swollen tissue and are now fully visible again. Jaw is still protrusive, though gaining more movement - I included a picture of him biting another fish that demonstrates this.
