Hello; I think the concept is something like this. If you sue me then I will need to hire lawyers. If you lose and I win then that sort of means your claim did not have enough legal merit. My cost for the lawyers becomes a burden I would not other wise have had to bear except for the "bad " court case that you lost.
In other words, if you sue me and lose the court can award me the cost of my attorneys and you have to pay.
