Circulation flow

Neat tank, going to get crowded soon.

I point my returns towards the surface. That and air stones provide agitation. I then have my power heads directed down to push waste to the overflows.

You could do something similar in your tank and push solids towards your canister intake with the power head. Your HOB will break the surface for oxygen exchange but I have begun to really like the air stones of late, they pull stuff off the bottom to get filtered out and provide oxygenation

800gph should be sufficient if not overkill, depending on the brand/style. I know an 800gph Hydor Koralia would make a nice, diffuse current in the tank. However, an 800gph Tunze would be more like a water cannon.

Yeah I have noticed that the tank will be overcrowded soon. That's why I'm think of getting rid of some of the ones I don't want. Only issue is that this is my 4year old nieces tank too haha I don't think she would be happy with uncle lol I moved decor around to give the fish more room during my cleaning today. My return is about 2" below the surface and my circulation fan only cost me like $10 from eBay lol it's pointing downward to the intake filter of both canister filter and emperor 400 filter. I have bubbles coming up from a pirate ship, pirate chest, a bubbler, and a air filter I bought. Do I need more? I want to continue to making the fish happy! I clean the tank once a week and replace any water that was taken out.
