What kind of circulation pump should I have in my 125 gallon tank? I want to eliminate dead spots and push detritus toward my filters. Any help is appreciated.

Non planted, 3 Oscars, 1 Green Texas, 4 Convicts, 3 Severums, 2 Firemouths, 2 Pictus Cats, 2 Jack Dempseys, 1 Green Terror, 1 Spotcheek, 1 Firehead. 125 gallon , 1 Fluval FX6, 3 AC 110's, 2 Ehiem 300 watt Heaters, Whisper 100 Air Pump, 1 Airstone, Gravel subtsrate.
Imo if your using cannisters it's better to try keep most of the solid waste in the main tank and syphon it out regular then have sucked into the fx6 and then have to strip that down weekly to clean it.
On a side note I don't think you have enough water volume for the stock you have.
Pretty busy tank! Maybe a couple 1000 gph wave makers. Play around with the placement to get the results your after
I like high flow tanks. In a 6' with bruiser stock like that, I'd run a couple 2-3000gph pumps. Try to avoid the narrow stream powerheads in favor of wide flow models like Jebao.
