The feds (who joined CITIES) will simply refuse entry to undocumented protected species. Thus making them illegal to import.

sounds interesting but im gonna have to disagree to that. lets say if it were that case then i would believe that the importers and the exporters would be aware of it. and the St's owner on this site would have mentioned it one way or another. so i would have to say this is not true from that way i see it.
