I just though the people that were serious about gars would have a better chance of seeing the pic in the gar section and thus having a better discussion about the fish in general. I didn't want comments on my photo I wanted comments about the fish. I will be sure to think differently in the future..

PS - I used to be a gar fan. I don't have a tank big enough for them anymore.

thanks everyone. His color is kind of light because i just dropped him in the tank and he was a little stressed.

he might not darken up, i have 2 i have had them for a while now. one got dark and awsome color to him the other says light color, like white with a little bit of spots
