Update, got some rocks to make some caves for them and a driftwood looking piece. Also pool filter sand. Will 100 lbs be more than plenty for a 75 gallon?

Alright so I got the tank on Thursday and painted the background black. And today I finally recieved my packages for everything else and set up the soon to be "clown loach hotel" lol. It's still a little cloudy I'm guessing from the sand? It's only been up and running for 2-3 hours so hopefully it'll clear up. I think I just need a few more plants for it but other than that I think it's set. Now to wait for cycling...
Hey thanks much for the compliment. Since then I've actually added some more plants to give some more hiding spots. Tanks still cycling though, so no loaches yet.
I ended up getting a 48" Twin-Tube Fluorescent Strip Light. The bulbs it came with are 32 watts and 9325ºK. I think it may be a little over lit and I probably shoulda just got a single tube, but I suppose I can always take a bulb out or maybe get different bulbs. I also ordered some blue led moonlights for night viewing.
Neat setup! 7-8 clowns should be good to start with. If you wish to try mid dwellers, barbs are your best options as well as rasboras. For catfish, I wouldn't recommend cories to go with them. I have plecos and a Raphael catfish with mine.
Got my first 3 loaches today. Figured it was a decent number to start with. Hopefully they do okay in the new tank
Got one oddball so far! He is a jigsaw...they had a bunch about a week ago but this was the only one left. Hopefully they'll have more when I'm ready to get some. I'll try and get pics once they get settled
